Sandeep Pillai joins Zee as Marketing Director

Sandeep Pillai has joined Zee as the Director of Marketing for Zing, according to his LinkedIn post.

Pillai was earlier with Times Network as Deputy General Manager at Movies Now MN+ and MNX. He was with Times for eight years.

Announcing his new role with Zee, Pillai wrote on LinkedIn, “I am happy to share that I have started a new position as Director Marketing-Music Cluster at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited!

Prior to Times Network, Pillai had been with Hungama and Diecti Sr. Associate.

Pillai is an engineering graduate, having 13 years of experience in building brands, creating award-winning marketing campaigns, and driving growth across categories.

He is a highly motivated and performance-oriented marketing enthusiast with expertise in media planning, brand management & consumer marketing strategy with a mix of ATL, Digital, BTL & Strategic.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
