India’s youngest and fastest-growing Hindi general entertainment channel with multi-format presence, The Q announces its maiden short film festival – ‘Ek Dastaan Aisi Bhi’ on national television. Spread across 7 days, ‘Ek Dastaan Aisi Bhi’ will showcase 9 critically acclaimed Hindi short films across genres, themes and subjects.
The channel showcases unique content which is never seen on television, ‘Ek Dastaan Aisi Bhi’ will showcase one short film with a unique narrative on weekdays followed by a weekend bonanza of 2 back-to-back films on the last 2 days of the festival.
As per the company’s press release, each of the 9 films presents a unique narrative-led with characters across different walks of life depicting different emotions and tales coupled with inspiration and aspiration.
Short films like ‘Aapka Amitabh’, ‘Rishtey’, ’Kesar’, ‘Le’vish’, ‘The Guide’, ‘You Changed Me’, ‘Kashi’, ‘Lunch Stories’, and ‘The Last Order reinforce’.
The Q’s proposition of bringing unique content for viewers from digital to television. Moreover, films like ‘Aapka Amitabh’ and ‘You Changed Me’ have also received global acclamation having won at leading film festivals.
‘Aapka Amitabh’ tells a story of a man claiming to be pen-pals with Amitabh Bachchan with no physical evidence left with him to prove this ‘fact’ to his friends. On the other hand ‘You Changed Me’ is a story of a mid-aged, well-educated man, who lost himself in the daily chores of life and is a reflection of how someone’s vibes can influence somebody’s life.

The Q’s short film festival ‘Ek Dastaan Aisi Bhi’ premieres on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 8:30 pm and will end on Sunday, February 28, 2022, with a Weekend Bonanza spread over February 26 and 27.
