Popular photo sharing and video sharing service Instagram has announced that all users now have access to its ‘Link Sticker’ feature in their stores.
Earlier the feature was only available for verified accounts and accounts with a specific number of followers.
As per ANI, the company said, the feature is now rolling out to all users irrespective of account type and followers.
The new feature is a part of the company’s ditching the swipe-up links in stories in favour of the new link stickers.
The social media platform has mentioned in its official blog that the link-sharing feature can help to inspire communities from organizing and educating around equity, social justice, and mental well-being to showcasing new product drop to customers.
“We made this decision based on feedback we heard from the community about how impactful it would be for creators and businesses of all sizes to benefit from link sharing to grow in the same way larger accounts do,” Instagram said in a statement.
Along with that, Instagram is also highlighting that it has taken utmost care about safety and security while giving link-sharing features to everyone.
The company has confirmed that new accounts and accounts that share hate speech and misinformation regularly or other content that violates the community guidelines won’t have access to the link sticker.
