A picture tells a story worth a thousand words! This World Photography Day, Sony BBC Earth brings in a reason to cheer for all the shutterbugs with the photography contest ‘Earth In Focus’.
The photography contest will award the thriving photography enthusiasts with passion and precision to capture moments in time.
There are so many things that make people feel alive and seeking the thrill of life is one of them.
Taking this as the theme for the current year, ‘Earth In Focus’ will invite entries asking people to share what gives them the ‘Thrill of Life’!
The theme is further divided into subcategories of Landscape, Adventure, and Wildlife.
As per the company’s press release, the one-month-long contest will be judged by award-winning wildlife photographer, Rathika Ramasamy.
The winners will receive a swanky Go Pro HERO10 Black along with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have their entries featured on the Sony BBC Earth channel & social media handles.
They will also receive access to an exclusive masterclass with Ramasamy.
The last edition of the contest centered around ‘Freedom in Focus’ and it received 2500 splendid entries on Nature, People, and Hobbies. With 1,35,000 votes and 8 lakh page views, the contest received a phenomenal response from photography enthusiasts.
