Popular music channel, 9XM has beaten all expectations by overtaking all TV channels in Urban India and being declared the most watched channel, according to BARC 13-21 ABC; HSM URBAN (August 6 – August 12, 2022).
In the era of movies and soaps, the audiences have given their clear verdict to 9XM as their favorite channel.
The music destination not only engages its viewers with foot-tapping music but has also launched a lot of new age programming and hence rules the roost.
As per the latest BARC data (Week 31 to Week 32), 9XM gets the No.1 position with 16.9 percent of the relative share.
ShowBox claimed the No.2 position with a relative share of 15.9 percent, followed by Mastii at the No.3 position with a relative share of 15.2 percent.
The relative share of B4U declined dramatically. The channel now is at No. 4 with a relative share of 14.9 percent.
Claiming the next positions based on the relative share amongst 14 Music channels were MTV Beats (13.9 percent), Zing (13.7 percent) Zoom (10.6 percent), MTV (8.7 percent), Bindass (5.8 percent), Music India (4.9 percent), 9X Jalwa (3.2 percent), iLove (1.7 percent), MTV Beats HD (0.8 percent), and MTV HD (0.1 percent).
However, Himindraa’s acumen regarding the distribution of the Channels has already started showing results as under his leadership 9XM has attained the No. 1 spot in the 13-21 ABC HSM urban category for the Week 25 ending 24th June 2022.
