Sony Sports Network, the official broadcaster for WWE in India, has unveiled an exciting new campaign aimed at elevating WWE’s popularity in South India.

This campaign, titled ‘WWE means 100 percent pure sports entertainment,’ stars South superstar Karthi alongside WWE Superstars Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

The campaign films, localized in Tamil and Telugu, are designed to resonate with the South Indian audience, emphasizing WWE as the ultimate destination for thrilling entertainment, combining ‘Jabar Masti, Tagda Action, and Jamkar Mazaa.’

These films capture the essence of WWE’s ‘100 percent Sports Entertainment,’ showcasing the thrill and entertainment WWE offers, perfectly tailored for those seeking excitement in their daily lives.

Featuring Karthi alongside WWE’s Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, the campaign showcases the fusion of local flavors and WWE’s global appeal, further engaging the audience. Owens and Zayn, known for their charisma among WWE enthusiasts, add a personalized touch by communicating in local languages.

The campaign’s narrative emphasizes the exhilarating WWE action available on Sony Sports Network, discouraging risky stunts by redirecting thrill-seekers to experience the live WWE action instead.

Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer of Sony Pictures Networks India, expressed the network’s commitment to delivering WWE excitement to Indian fans, reinforcing their partnership with WWE through engaging content and campaigns.

Speaking about his association with the campaign, actor Karthi expressed delight in collaborating with Sony Sports Network and WWE, praising WWE’s ability to captivate audiences globally with its gripping narratives and thrilling performances.

Sony Sports Network continues to be the premier destination for WWE enthusiasts in India, offering live coverage of WWE RAW, WWE NXT, and WWE SmackDown on Sony Sports Ten 1, Sony Sports Ten 3 (Hindi), and Sony Sports Ten 4 (Tamil & Telugu) channels.
