The ABBY Awards 2024, powered by One Show, has unveiled an esteemed lineup of jury chairs who will preside over various categories, bringing their wealth of expertise and experience to India’s most prestigious advertising awards.
Rahul Mathew, Avinash Pandey, Malvika Mehra, Sudha Natarajan, and Tista Sen have been appointed as Jury Chairs for different categories, marking a significant milestone in recognizing excellence in advertising and marketing, the company said in a press release.
Rahul Mathew, the Chief Creative Officer of DDB Mudra Group, has been appointed as the Jury Chair for the Brand Activation and Promotion category. With a track record of groundbreaking creativity, Mathew’s leadership at DDB Mudra Group has garnered international acclaim, with the agency winning multiple awards, including the prestigious D&AD Impact Prize Fund in 2019.
Avinash Pandey, CEO of ABP Network, will helm the Broadcaster category as the Jury Chair. Under Pandey’s leadership, ABP Network has emerged as India’s leading television and digital network, reaching over 265 million viewers across multiple platforms. His extensive experience in media, news, advertising, and digital realms makes him a formidable force in judging broadcasting excellence.
Malvika Mehra, a luminary in the advertising industry, will serve as the Jury Chair for the Young Maverick Abby category. With a career spanning three decades, Mehra has left an indelible mark on the advertising landscape, spearheading iconic campaigns and earning numerous accolades, including recognition from Cannes Lions, D&AD, and The One Show.
Sudha Natarajan, Director of Response at the Times of India Group, will chair the Publisher category. With over 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and media organizations, Natarajan brings a wealth of knowledge to the jury panel. Her leadership in driving diversified revenue portfolios and her contributions to the industry have earned her widespread acclaim.
Tista Sen, a visionary in advertising and gender equality advocate, will chair the Green Abby category. Sen’s illustrious career has been marked by groundbreaking campaigns and her commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the industry. As the co-founder of The Collective and founder of Ladyfinger, Sen continues to push boundaries and drive positive change.
