The highly anticipated fifth edition of the Indian Sports Honours (ISH) is set to air on Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar on November 18, 2024, showcasing the achievements of India’s top athletes from October 2023 to September 2024. Organized by Cornerstone Sport, this prestigious event celebrates excellence across a wide array of sports, including Olympic and Paralympic disciplines, the Asian Games, the Commonwealth Games, and prominent sports like Cricket, Chess, and Squash.
The awards ceremony, held at the JW Marriott Hotel Juhu on November 9, brought together India’s sports and entertainment fraternity. In collaboration with Ernst & Young LLP (EY), the event ensured a meticulous selection process, with inputs from Sportskeeda, NDTV reported.
The jury, led by Abhinav Bindra (India’s first individual Olympic gold medalist and IOC member), included notable icons such as:
• P.T. Usha: President, Indian Olympic Association
• Anjali Bhagwat: Former World No. 1 Shooter
• Vijender Singh: Olympic Bronze Medalist, Boxing (2008)
• Yogeshwar Dutt: Olympic Bronze Medalist, Wrestling (2012)
• Sardar Singh: Former Indian Hockey Captain
• Sanjog Gupta: Head of Sports, Disney+ Star
