PTC Motion Pictures released one of the year’s most anticipated films, ‘Baghi Di Dhee,’ which is about the revolutionaries’ vengeance, revolt, and valor.
The film is directed by Mukesh Gautam and produced by Rabindra Narayan, MD, and President of PTC Network.
‘Baghi Di Dhee’ was released in theatres on November 25 and has won the hearts of audiences with its unconventional presentation.
Giani Gurmukh Singh Musafir’s original novel extols the rebellious spirit of the ‘Gadar’ movement fighters who fought against the British dominion.
The struggles and difficulties faced by a 14-year-old girl who struggled for her independence and is pleased to be called “daughter of a rebellion” are also highlighted.
The film’s ‘script’, which was penned by renowned author Pali Bhupinder Singh, is what sets it apart from other productions.
Kuljinder Singh Sidhu, Dilnoor Kaur, Vaquar Shaikh, and Gurpreet Bhangu are among the stellar cast members who played their roles admirably.
Tejwant Kittu composed the music for ‘Baghi Di Dhee,’ which also features songs by famous singer-lyricist Bir Singh.
Talking about the movie, Rabindra Narayan, MD and President, of PTC Networks said, “Fortunately, PTC does not have pressure of box office compulsions of having big names and formulas to draw crowd. We believe in story being the most important aspect of any film project. For us it was important that the story is deep rooted in the ethos of Punjab with focus on the contribution of unsung heroes in Indian Freedom Struggle. It’s a film with soul and hopefully Punjabis would appreciate the way the subject has been presented.”
