Arvind Krishnan, managing director at BBH India, has quit the agency. BBH India confirmed the development.
Krishnan’s immediate professional plans are unknown at the moment.
Krishnan’s advertising career spans close to two decades. He has worked at Leo Burnett India in the past, before joining BBH India in 2009, as a part of its founding team, Economic Times reported.
Since then, has served several roles at the agency. He took over as managing director of the India ops in 2013 after a stint at BBH London.
Subhash Kamath, chief executive officer, of BBH India and PWW India, said, “Arvind has been a strong member of our team at BBH India for 13 years, over since we started the company in 2009. He has contributed immensely to the growth and success of our organization and we shall miss his energy and passion. He’s decided to become an entrepreneur now and start his venture. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
This is the second senior-level exit from the Publicis Groupe to be reported in recent days.
