BSNL joins hands with Skypro, PlayboxTV for IFTV

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has unveiled IFTV, a unified platform that combines 550+ Live TV channels and premium OTT apps. This one-stop solution, created in collaboration with Skypro and OTT partner PlayboxTV, promises to deliver high-quality content, bridging live TV and on-demand OTT services under a single subscription model—accessible for free to millions of BSNL broadband users across the country.

The official launch of IFTV witnessed the presence of notable dignitaries, including Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Minister of Communications; A. Robert J. Ravi, ITS, CMD, BSNL; Dr. Neeraj Mittal, IAS, Secretary, Department of Telecommunications; and key representatives from Skypro and PlayboxTV.

The IFTV platform integrates 18+ premium OTT apps alongside its extensive collection of live SD and HD TV channels. With BSNL’s unparalleled broadband reach, the platform aims to penetrate even the most remote areas, making quality digital entertainment accessible to rural and urban India alike.

To celebrate the launch, BSNL is providing its broadband customers free access to the IFTV platform. Subscribers will enjoy 550+ live TV channels and 18 OTT platforms without any additional cost, significantly enhancing the value of their broadband plans. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
