In a significant move to enhance the digital viewing experience for Indian households, CloudTV — India’s first certified TV operating system — has announced new strategic partnerships with leading content platforms including BookMyShow Stream and SunNXT.

According to CloudTV press release, these tie-ups, alongside alliances with TimesPlay, Tivizon, Bollywood Masala, and France-based Net Radio, mark a major expansion in CloudTV’s content offerings, catering to the evolving preferences of over 12 million users across the country.

As a homegrown Smart TV OS tailored specifically for the Indian market, CloudTV aims to deliver a seamless, content-rich, and highly localized viewing experience. With these latest partnerships, the brand is positioning itself as a one-stop destination for diverse, on-demand entertainment in multiple languages and genres.

The integration with BookMyShow Stream, known for its Transactional Video on Demand (TVOD) service, brings an expansive range of films — from mainstream to indie — in Hindi, English, and regional Indian languages. Viewers can rent or buy movies, access free and discounted titles, and explore international cinema across 35 genres including romance, thriller, action, and drama.

In another big leap, CloudTV’s collaboration with SunNXT opens up a massive OTT catalogue with thousands of movies, web series, music videos, and live TV. SunNXT’s rich content library in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, and English further amplifies CloudTV’s regional strength.

But CloudTV’s strategy isn’t stopping there. Additional content tie-ups have also been announced:
TimesPlay: A digital video platform with unlimited access to Indian and international movies, web series, and news channels like Times Now and ET Now.

Tivizon: A global digital broadcaster offering 75+ international FAST channels, particularly focused on Turkish dramas, news, and sports in various international languages.

Bollywood Masala: A vibrant Bollywood-focused entertainment platform featuring celeb gossip, exclusive interviews, BTS content, and short videos.

Net Radio: A France-based digital music and TV platform offering seven genre-specific music channels, including Lo-Fi, Epic, and Rising through FAST streaming.

Speaking on the expansion, Abhijeet Rajpurohit, COO and Co-Founder of CloudTV, said, “Content consumption in India is booming due to widespread internet access. With these partnerships, we are bringing premium content across languages like Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and Telugu into Indian homes. Our aim is to transform the Smart TV experience and make CloudTV the most content-driven OS in the country.”

CloudTV’s broader strategy also includes scaling up its technological capabilities. Recently, the company forged a chipset alliance with global semiconductor giant MediaTek. It has also bundled its platform with OTT aggregator Watcho from DishTV, signaling its intent to integrate hardware, software, and content in a tightly-knit ecosystem.

With this growing content universe and strategic tech partnerships, CloudTV is positioning itself not just as an operating system but as a full-fledged entertainment gateway for the next-gen Indian viewer.
