In a recent gathering of prominent figures at the ‘Agenda Chhattisgarh‘ Summit organized by News18, key leaders from the state deliberated on various crucial aspects of Chhattisgarh’s development and the upcoming assembly elections.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who was the Chief Guest at the event, asserted that he draws his inspiration from the people of Chhattisgarh. He accused the BJP of fearing defeat in the forthcoming elections and criticized the party for sending Union ministers and MPs to the state.
Baghel also alleged a biased attitude from the central government towards Chhattisgarh and commented on the ‘Sanatan’ issue. He downplayed the entry of AAP into the electoral arena, stating that it won’t affect the Congress party.
Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singh Deo discussed Chhattisgarh’s developmental journey and clarified his previous statement regarding the central government. He expressed confidence in the leadership of the ‘Kaka-Baba’ duo, suggesting they would lead the Congress to victory in the upcoming elections.
Chhattisgarh’s Home Minister, Tamradhwaj Sahu, highlighted Naxalism as the most significant challenge facing the state. Mohammad Akbar, the State’s Forest and Housing Minister, emphasized the government’s commitment to environmental conservation and housing development.
Komal Hupendi, the State President of the Aam Aadmi Party, launched a scathing attack on both the BJP and Congress, pointing out growing public discontent with both parties and a desire for change.
Amarjeet Bhagat, Chhattisgarh’s Food and Supply Minister, discussed his department’s achievements and government welfare initiatives.
Sadhguru Riteshwar Maharaj added a spiritual dimension to the event, emphasizing the essence of spirituality and advocating for religious harmony and unity among diverse faiths.
