This event follows the successful Hyderabad City Chapter and continues CNBC-TV18‘s commitment to promoting gender equality in the workplace, recognizing its impact on the economy and national development.

The Chennai City Chapter is scheduled for July 24, 2023, starting at 5:00 PM at Taj Wellington Mews, Chennai. Esteemed personalities from the Manufacturing, Startup, and SaaS industries will participate in the event to discuss achieving workforce parity and exploring actions to reduce disparities. The event’s chief guest will be Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Minister of IT and Digital Services, Tamil Nadu. Other distinguished guests include Air Marshal Suraj Kumar Jha, Air Office in Charge of Personnel, Rajeev Chaba, President and Managing Director, MG Motor India, Sumita Ghosh, Founder of Rangsutra, and several other notable figures.

As per a press release, the Chennai City Chapter will focus on three panel discussions essential to women’s progress across industries, namely Women leading the Manufacturing growth story, Women in Workplace – The Leadership take, and The Startup Women Pioneers. These discussions will be moderated by Shereen Bhan, Parikshit Luthra, and Shruti Mishra, respectively. The event will also feature addresses on various topics, including the achievements of women in the Indian Air Force, The Great Chip Crunch, and Women Charting Success in Sports.

A special felicitation ceremony is planned to recognize remarkable women in Tamil Nadu who have made significant contributions to their fields. The event will culminate with a captivating performance entitled – A Tribute to the Women of Tamil Nadu, celebrating their achievements and contributions.
