Colors Bangla Cinema has unveiled its new brand identity, which is centered on the promise of ‘Saat Ronge Bandha’ (seven colors united).
This rebranding marks a watershed moment in the channel’s history, reinforcing its commitment to providing viewers with diverse and captivating content.
Cinema, at its core, is a powerful expression of human emotions. Various genres, such as romance, comedy, drama, action, thriller, and fantasy, address these emotions in different ways, adding magic and vibrancy to people’s lives while instilling new hope in their minds.
The brand promise of Colours Bangla Cinema is to provide an entire spectrum of emotions that touch every chord, much like the seven colors of a rainbow, intending to become the ultimate destination for films, providing a seamless and fulfilling experience for our audience.
Colours Bangla Cinema’s new brand identity was created to capture the unified essence of Bengali cinema while reflecting the multi-hues of Bengal and the various genres.
To create a captivating color palette, the design approach incorporates Bengali cultural signatures and colors associated with various emotions.
Each color represents a different genre, allowing viewers to immediately connect with the emotions elicited by the films.
Pink represents romance, blue represents drama, orange represents action, yellow represents comedy, green represents thriller/horror, and violet represents fantasy.
On the other hand, the color red represents bonding and is also the landing color for the channel where all other colors meet.
In line with the new brand identity, Colors Bangla Cinema is also bringing a Blockbuster Movie Festival- ‘Cine Mahotsav’ for its viewers in association with Budleaf as the presenting sponsor and special partner Dear Government Lotteries.
Starting with a fourteen-day movie festival and fourteen blockbuster titles on June 17 and running through June 30, the channel aims to provide an entertainment experience.
The line-up for Cine Mahotsav includes ‘Poran Jaye Jolia Re’, ‘Sasur Bari Zindabad’, ‘Premer Kahini’, ‘Le Halua Le’, ‘Total Dadadgiri’, ‘Bojhena Se Bojhena’, ‘Bolo Dugga Mai Ki’, ‘Sathi’, ‘MLA Phatakesto’, ‘Awara’, ‘Yuddha’, ‘Sedin Dekha Hoechilo’, and ‘Rehmat Ali’.
Sagnik Ghosh, Business Head of Colors Bangla and Colors Bangla Cinema, said, “With ‘Saat Ronge Bandha,’ we aim to create an emotional resonance with our viewers by bringing together the diverse range of human emotions depicted in Bengali cinema. Our new brand identity truly captures the essence of Bengal, its vibrancy, and the plethora of emotions evoked by different movie genres.
