The 31st Convergence India and 9th Smart Cities India Expo is set to illuminate India’s technological prowess and urban evolution over three days. Backed by the Smart Cities Mission and key ministries, this event unveils the nation’s strides in modernization.
Under the theme ‘Innovation Driving Sustainability: Realise the Power of Tomorrow – Today,’ the expo becomes a platform for global brands, 250 startups, and government-industry dialogues aligning with initiatives like ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Smart Cities Mission.’
According to Convergence India press release, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Anurag Singh Thakur and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in their messages ahead of the event have lauded the expo’s role in showcasing ‘Brand India’ and fostering economic opportunities amidst India’s digital and economic renaissance.
Expecting 1,200 participants from 35 nations and 55,000 visitors, the expo spotlights innovation, hosts 50 conferences, and celebrates national Smart Cities achievements. A Startup Hub and mentoring sessions aim to foster business ties and technological innovations, while also serving as a platform for tech enthusiasts seeking the latest gadgets and solutions.
Chandrika Behl, Managing Director of Exhibitions India Group, emphasized the expo’s legacy in driving India’s digital and urban development, highlighting its pivotal role in bridging societal gaps and fostering national and global recognition.
The event, slated to draw 1,200 participants from 35 countries and an estimated 55,000 visitors, will highlight cutting-edge innovations and facilitate 50 conference sessions. These sessions will serve as a forum for discussions among government representatives, industry leaders, innovators, and academia, delving into the latest market trends shaping India’s digital revolution and urban landscape.
