Goafest 2024, ABBY Awards shift venue to Mumbai

In a strategic move, the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and The Advertising Club (TAC) have announced the relocation of Goafest 2024 and ABBY Awards Powered by One Show 2024 from their traditional venue in Goa to Mumbai.

The decision, aimed at accommodating the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, underscores the organizers’ dedication to ensuring a seamless and impactful event.

Scheduled to unfold from the 29th to the 31st of May 2024, the 17th edition of Goafest will now grace the Westin Powai, Mumbai, offering a vibrant platform for industry stakeholders to converge, collaborate, and innovate, the company said in a press release.

Prasanth Kumar, President of AAAI and CEO of GroupM, South Asia, expressed excitement about the shift, highlighting the event’s significance in shaping the industry’s trajectory. Despite logistical challenges, the decision underscores the organizers’ unwavering commitment to fostering dialogue, facilitating knowledge exchange, and honoring excellence within the advertising and marketing domain.

Rana Barua, President of The Advertising Club and Group CEO of Havas India, South East, and North Asia, emphasized the ABBY Awards’ role in recognizing exemplary contributions to the field. With the prestigious event powered by One Show set to take place in Mumbai, Barua assured industry professionals of an engaging agenda aimed at celebrating outstanding achievements from 2023.
