GTPL secures govt. approval to offer HITS services

In accordance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, GTPL Hathway Ltd. has officially announced that it has received permission from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to provide Headend-In-The-Sky (HITS) Services. This development marks a significant advancement for the company in the digital broadcasting sector.

The approval from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, received today, grants GTPL the authority to offer HITS Services, subject to fulfilling the provisions stipulated in the HITS guidelines.

This strategic approval underscores GTPL’s compliance with regulatory frameworks and its commitment to expanding its service portfolio.

HITS is a satellite-based digital headend service that enables multi-channel TV distribution. With this approval, GTPL aims to enhance its capabilities in delivering high-quality broadcasting services across a wider audience base.

Commenting on the development, the company stated, “We are pleased to announce the receipt of approval from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for our HITS Services.
