SPN secures b’cast rights for Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2024

Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2024

Sony Sports Network has officially acquired the exclusive media rights to live broadcast the Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2024.

The tournament is set to take place from September 8 to September 17, 2024, in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, China. Hockey fans across India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka can catch every thrilling moment live on Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV.

The Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) has confirmed the participation of six top teams from the continent, including the defending champions and Olympic Bronze medallists, India, along with Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, China, and Malaysia. The event promises to be an exciting showcase of the best in Asian hockey talent.

• The tournament kicks off on September 8 with a single-pool format, where all six teams will compete. The opening day will feature matches between South Korea and Japan, Malaysia and Pakistan, and the final fixture will see defending champions India face hosts China.
• A major highlight of the tournament will be the much-anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on September 14.
• The tournament will feature a total of 20 matches, culminating in the final on September 17th, where the champions will be crowned.
