Hoopr, India’s pioneering music licensing platform, has launched ‘Hoopr Smash,’ a self-serve digital marketplace designed to streamline the licensing process for Bollywood and regional music.
This initiative aims to provide brands, agencies, and content creators with an efficient and transparent solution for accessing popular tracks.
The platform addresses longstanding challenges in India’s music licensing ecosystem, such as volatile pricing and complex clearance processes. Hoopr Smash offers real-time updates on trending Bollywood music, intelligent track curation, and instant licensing options, ensuring that artists and rights holders receive fair compensation.
The platform has launched with an extensive catalog of over 18,000 tracks, including content from prominent rights holders like YRF Music and 17 regional music labels. This move is expected to set a new standard in organized music licensing, promoting ethical and lawful usage of music in the industry.
Gaurav Dagaonkar, CEO and Co-founder of Hoopr, emphasized the platform’s mission to empower creators and brands to use music responsibly, stating that Hoopr Smash is poised to become the go-to destination for ethical music licensing in India.
