Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is set to step behind the camera for the first time, making his directorial debut with ‘Krrish 4’. In a major industry development, Yash Raj Films (YRF) has also come on board as the producer for the much-anticipated superhero sequel.

The film will mark the return of India’s first homegrown superhero franchise after a long wait, promising a cinematic spectacle like never before, PTI reported from Mumbai.

Hrithik, who has played the iconic role of Krrish since the franchise began in 2003 with ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’, has been deeply involved in shaping the film’s story and vision. According to sources close to the production, the actor has spent the last few years meticulously planning the project, ensuring that ‘Krrish 4’ not only lives up to the expectations set by its predecessors but also sets a new benchmark for Indian superhero films.

Confirming his directorial debut, Hrithik said, “Krrish has been an integral part of my journey, and taking on the responsibility of directing this film is both thrilling and deeply personal.
