The second edition of the Global AI Conclave, hosted by Moneycontrol and CNBC-TV18, concluded in Bengaluru, spotlighting India’s growing dominance in artificial intelligence (AI) innovation. Under the theme ‘From Hype to Impact,’ the event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and tech innovators to explore AI’s transformative impact across governance, healthcare, and urban development.
Nalin Mehta, MD of Moneycontrol, hailed the nation’s ₹10,300 crore commitment to the India AI mission. He stated, “India is at the forefront of an AI-powered transformation, ready to deliver real-world impact.”

• AI in Governance: Rajeev Chandrasekhar, former Union Minister, highlighted AI’s role in enhancing public services, drawing parallels with UPI’s impact on financial inclusion.
• Healthcare Innovations: A panel featuring Dr. H. Sudarshan Ballal (Manipal Hospitals) and Dr. Geetha Manjunath (Niramai Health Analytix) discussed AI’s potential in revolutionizing diagnostics.
• Traffic Solutions in Bengaluru: M.N. Anucheth, IPS, revealed adaptive traffic systems that have already reduced travel times by 17-22%.
Dr. M. B. Patil, Minister for Commerce & Industries, stated, “Karnataka, with 1.2 million skilled professionals, leads globally in machine learning, robotics, and quantum computing.”
Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner for Industrial Development, announced a new industrial policy to be unveiled at the Global Investors Meet 2025, targeting ₹7 lakh crore investments and 25 lakh jobs.
