ITV Network appoints Akshansh Yadav digital biz CPO & CTO

ITV Network has named Akshansh Yadav as its new Chief Product & Technology Officer for its digital business, signaling a strategic push towards enhanced user engagement and AI-driven content personalization.

A media veteran with over a decade of experience, Yadav brings a robust mix of expertise across media, fintech, and D2C domains. His impressive portfolio includes leadership roles at top Indian media houses like ABP News, Zee News, and the India Today Group, where he most recently spearheaded multiple digital initiatives. His fintech experience, gained during his time at Canara HSBC Insurance, where he launched the company’s digital business in India, and his roles at Insurance Dekho and CarDekho, further amplify his credentials.

During his tenure as Chief Product & Technology Officer at IDPL (Zee Media), Yadav led transformative digital projects, including the revamp of the WION News and Zee Business mobile applications and the overhaul of the DNA website. These initiatives resulted in a significant spike in user engagement and traffic, cementing his reputation as a catalyst for digital growth.

An alumnus of Rajasthan Technical University with a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Yadav also holds an MBA from MICA, one of India’s premier business schools. Adding to his tech-forward approach, he completed a licentiate in Machine Learning from Harvard University, equipping him with a cutting-edge understanding of AI ecosystems.

Yadav’s expertise lies in building scalable digital products that drive revenue through content personalization and AI-powered recommendations. His strategic approach to digital transformation focuses on creating immersive and tailored user experiences, a vision he aims to bring to ITV Network’s growing digital presence.
