JioCinema Premium has unveiled the gripping trailer for its upcoming human drama series, “PILL,” set to premiere on July 12.

The series, starring Riteish Deshmukh, aims to expose the dark underbelly of the pharmaceutical industry. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and created by Raj Kumar Gupta, ‘PILL’ also features actor Pavan Malhotra in a pivotal role.

The trailer introduces Prakash Chauhan, played by Riteish Deshmukh, who delves into the deep-seated corruption within the Indian pharmaceutical world.

The series explores the journey of a pill from its creation to its impact on individuals, highlighting the roles of pharma industrialists, corrupt doctors, medical representatives, compromised drug regulators, politicians, journalists, and whistleblowers. As Prakash takes on the manipulative CEO of a pharma company, portrayed by Pavan Malhotra, he uncovers the powerful nexus that prioritizes profits over patient well-being.
