Desai’s journey with CNBC-TV18 began in January 2020 when she joined as Deputy Manager of Marketing. By April 2022, she had advanced to the role of Manager of Marketing (Brand Team Lead), where she demonstrated exceptional skill in conceptualizing and developing brand IPs and marquee properties aimed at maximizing revenue. Notably, she has been instrumental in launching and driving the flagship initiative on gender parity, “Future. Female. Forward – The Women’s Collective,” now in its successful second season.
With nearly a decade of experience in the industry, Desai excels in campaigns, content marketing, IP creation, and media and entertainment across both online and offline channels. She holds an MBA in Media & Entertainment and a PGD in Advertising and Brand Management, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Her career includes a proven track record of working with diverse brands and agencies, strategizing campaigns, and delivering optimal ROI in the video and content ecosystem.
Before her tenure with Network18, Desai served as Brand Manager and Brand Solutions Specialist at The Times of India’s entertainment and lifestyle arm. There, she managed esteemed brands such as Filmfare, Femina, Lonely Planet, TopGear India, HELLO!, and Grazia. Her earlier experience also includes a role as Senior Executive of Marketing and Strategic Alliances at Carnival Cinemas from November 2015 to January 2017.
