Surviving in the COLORS’ ‘Bigg Boss’ house is no easy task! The 16th edition of the show powered by Tresemme, Special Partner Ching’s Dragonfire Chutney, Make-up Partner Myglamm, and Taste Partner Priyagold Hunk, hosted by Dabangg host Salman Khan and a few episodes by Karan Johar and Farah Khan, has concluded.

Salman Khan, the show’s host, presented the winner’s trophy to MC Stan, who received Rs 31,80,000 in prize money and a Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS.

Shiv Thakare and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary were the finalists who put up a good fight against the winner.

As per a press release, the show drew a record-breaking number of viewers this season.

“This season of India’s favorite reality show reached 169 million people and garnered 121 billion viewing minutes,”.

The show also had a social media reach of 15 billion people, with 9 billion views, 200 million conversations, and a 98% share of voice.

MC Stan is praised for being the only contestant who appeared genuine throughout the season. His lingo has piqued the interest of viewers and spawned a slew of memes on social media. MC Stan’s presence in this season was credited with putting the community of underground rappers on the Indian map long before his victory.

Salman Khan was joined by Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel from Gadar 2: The Katha Continues for the season finale.

The finale night was packed with entertainment as all of this season’s ex-contestants performed with gusto and sent their best wishes to the finalists.

The hosts of ‘Bigg Buzz,’ Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek, entered the house and entertained the finalists and ex-contestants with their comic timing.

Colors’ upcoming show ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ stars Karan Kundrra, Gashmeer Mahajani, and Reem Sameer Shaikh have shared sneak peeks of their romance-fantasy-drama.

Soon after, Ankit Gupta, Gautam Singh Vig, and Neha Rana joined Salman Khan to spread the word about their forthcoming music-drama Colors’ ‘Junooniyatt’.

Abdu Rozik unveiled ‘You Very Chaalaak Bro’, a song inspired by his catchphrase popularised during his stint on the show.

Salman Khan launched his song ‘Naiyo Lagda’ from his upcoming movie ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ during the finale.
