Mirchi is marking India’s 77th Independence Day with a return of its acclaimed campaign, ‘Aazaadi Ki Kahaani Mirchi Ki Zubaani’. This year’s initiative, launching on August 9 and running through August 15, promises a week-long tribute to India’s rich history, featuring an impressive array of celebrities who will bring to life stories of India’s freedom struggle.
‘Aazaadi Ki Kahaani Mirchi Ki Zubaani’ S2 will showcase 49 compelling stories narrated by 49 prominent figures from the entertainment industry. Each day, listeners will be treated to seven new stories, each presented by a different celebrity voice, all of which will also be available for streaming on the Gaana app.
The star-studded lineup includes Taapsee Pannu, Maniesh Paul, Chirag Paswan, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Shekhar Suman, Vikrant Massey, Chitrangada Singh, Gurmeet Chaudhary, Sonali Kulkarni, Salim Khan, Piyush Mishra, Rajpal Yadav, Urvashi Rautela, Milind Soman, Sunny Kaushal, and many more.
The campaign will highlight the stories of unsung heroes from India’s freedom struggle, such as Kadakkal Revolt, Bina Das, Rani Rashmoni, Kanailal Bhattacharjee, Saraswati Rajamani, Vasudeo Balwant Phadke, Nanibala Devi, Begum Hazrat Mahal, Matangini Hazra, Judge Kingsford, and Chamaru Parida.
