The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has instructed Sony Pictures Networks to take down an episode of a dance show where a child was allegedly subjected to indecent and sexually explicit questioning about their parents. The commission has also sought clarification from the network regarding the inclusion of such inappropriate questions directed at the young participant.

In response to a video posted on Twitter, the NCPCR noticed judges on the dance show posing vulgar and sexually explicit questions to the child while on stage, PTI reported.

Upon reviewing the video, the commission found that all the questions posed to the minor were inappropriate and disturbing, clearly unsuitable for children.

The NCPCR promptly urged Sony Pictures Networks to remove the mentioned episode and demanded an explanation for the inclusion of such inappropriate questions targeted at the young artist in a children’s dance show.

Additionally, the NCPCR requested Sony Pictures Networks to refrain from broadcasting any more “inappropriate content on their channel.”
