In an exciting move, WWE Raw is making its way to Netflix, promising a whole new streaming experience.
Monday nights just got even more unpredictable. With no fixed time limit, WWE fans can expect a dynamic range of durations—anywhere from 40 minutes to four hours—making the show a wild ride for viewers. While this shift is thrilling for American audiences, Indian fans are left with more questions than answers, The Economic Times reported.
Currently, WWE Raw will not be available on Netflix in India. Reports suggest that Netflix may acquire the streaming rights after March 31, 2025, creating a significant gap in accessibility for Indian viewers. Until that time, Sony Sports Network holds the exclusive broadcast rights, offering Indian audiences access via Sony Ten channels and the Sony Liv app.
This shift to Netflix raises major questions about WWE’s future in India, where digital content consumption is rapidly growing. While the move to an OTT platform could transform WWE’s reach globally, the real challenge remains in navigating this transition for Indian fans, who might find themselves caught between traditional broadcasts and a new-age streaming model.
Fans will have to wait until 2025 to see how this transition unfolds.
