News18 India has once again clinched the top position as the most-watched Hindi news channel in the country, as per the latest data released by the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC).

According to News18 Network, it continues to lead the Hindi news genre, outperforming long-standing competitor Aaj Tak.

According to BARC’s Week 14 data for 2025, News18 India registered an impressive 72,878 AMA’000s, staying ahead of Aaj Tak, which followed closely with 70,562 AMA’000s. Other leading Hindi news channels trailed behind, with TV9 Bharatvarsh garnering 55,010 AMA’000s, Republic Bharat clocking 53,183 AMA’000s, and India TV recording 52,988 AMA’000s.

The figures reflect audience measurement across NCCS All 15+ segment, covering a 24-hour cycle across all days, with a focus on the HSM (Hindi Speaking Market) region.

The consistent dominance of News18 India is widely credited to its strong editorial lineup and impactful programming. Led by a team of well-known anchors like Kishore Ajwani, Amish Devgan, Rubika Liyaquat, Prateek Trivedi, and Aman Chopra, the channel has managed to connect deeply with viewers, offering a mix of hard-hitting debates, ground reports, and insightful discussions.

Its vast network of on-ground reporters and correspondents has enabled the channel to provide fast, accurate, and in-depth news coverage, helping solidify its reputation as one of the most trusted voices in the industry.

News18 India is a key part of the larger News18 Network, which has built a strong presence not just on television but also on digital platforms. The group’s ability to capture and retain viewer attention across mediums has further strengthened its foothold in a highly competitive news market.

With this week’s BARC results, the channel has reinforced its status as the undisputed leader in Hindi news broadcasting—both in terms of reach and influence.
