For the upcoming edition of its leadership conference, ‘Rising India Summit 2023’, News18 Network has teamed with Poonawalla Fincorp, a Cyrus Poonawalla group promoted by NBFC.

The Taj Palace in New Delhi will host the third edition of the two-day summit on March 29-30.

The summit will bring together leaders from the national government as well as various sectors such as the arts, sports, business, and academia from both India and around the world.

It was designed to give a place for these leaders to engage in fruitful talks, share their knowledge, and contribute useful ideas on how to further India’s prosperity.

The summit, themed ‘The Heroes of Rising India,’ highlights the achievements of Indians who go above and beyond to fuel India’s growth trajectory.

This year’s summit will honor the accomplishments of “Ordinary People” who have had an “Extraordinary Social Impact.”

As per a press release, the event will honor 20 such heroes who have created innovative solutions that are making a difference at the grassroots level and launched social entrepreneurship ventures with the potential to transform lives, initiated community-led programs that are bringing positive change in a variety of ways and demonstrated acts of compassion and courage that are helping to make India a better place.

Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar will make the keynote address during the event. S Jaishankar, India’s Minister of External Affairs, will also speak about ‘India’s G20 Moment.’

Leaders from many sectors, including governance, the arts, business, and academia, will join in conversations and offer their experience and viewpoints on how to sustain India’s progress.

These discussions will cover a variety of themes, including ‘India Stack: Highway to Growth,’ in which Dilip Asbe (NPCI), Shashank Kumar (Co-Founder and CEO, DeHaat), BVR Subrahmanyam (CEO, Niti Aayog), and K Rajaraman (Secretary, DoT) will share their insights.

Corporate leaders such as Vivek Tyagi (Chairperson of India Electronics and Semiconductor Association), Srinath Ravichandran (AgniCool Cosmos), Aman Gupta (Boat), Tarun Mehta (Ather), and Abhay Bhutada (Poonawalla Fincorp) will be seen sharing their perspectives on the topic ‘Made in India rising aspirations of young India’.

There will also be another session on ‘Women’s Era’ with Rakulpreet Singh, Shilpa Rao, and Vinita Singh (Sugar Cosmetics), as well as Smriti Irani. On the panel titled ‘India’s Manufacturing Moment: Now or Never,’ will be Adar Poonawala (Serum), Salil Gupte (Boeing), Sunil Vachani (Dixon), Sanjeev Sharma (ABB), and Santosh Iyer (Mercedes-Benz).

Along with Anurag Thakur, actors Siddhartha Anand, Ayan Mukherjee, Kajal Agarwal, and Mrunal Thakur will participate in the ‘One India – One Cinema’ panel. Nikhat Zareen, World Boxing Championship gold medalist, and Oscar winner Guneet Monga will also be present at the summit.
