Warren Jenson has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Nielsen, effective April 15, 2023.
Jenson will lead Nielsen’s global finance organization and financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, tax, controllership, and treasury, reporting to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David Kenny.
He will also oversee information technology, corporate development, and global strategy for the company.
As CFO, Jenson will collaborate closely with the leaders of Nielsen’s three business units – Audience Measurement, Gracenote, and Analytics Portfolio – to support their strategic initiatives while driving the company’s long-term growth.
“We are delighted to have Warren join us. His impressive background, track record, and strategic vision will be critical in driving our company’s growth and financial performance, as well as supporting Nielsen’s and our client’s digital transformation,” Kenny said. “His growth mindset and global business perspective will be valuable assets to our winning team.”
Jenson takes over for Linda Zukauckas, who left the company earlier this month.
Jenson is a seasoned CFO and operations leader with over 34 years of transformation and value-creation experience in a variety of industries, including data and media. He has a proven track record of accelerating growth, increasing profitability and business development, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
He has held CFO positions at several Fortune 500 companies, including Amazon, Delta Airlines, NBC, and Electronic Arts, and most recently served as LiveRamp’s President, CFO, and Executive Managing Director of International.
“I am thrilled to join Nielsen at such an exciting time in the company’s history and development. It is encouraging to see the dynamic spirit of innovation, especially as I join the leadership team and associates as they work with clients and partners to reshape the industry,” said Jenson. “Nielsen is in great shape and a strong position for the years ahead.”
