The campaign, developed in collaboration with the creative agency Moonshot—founded by Tanmay Bhat and Devaiah Bopanna—aims to redefine OYO’s brand perception. The advertisement was crafted by Tanmay Bhat, Devaiah Bopanna, Puneet Chadha, and Deep Joshi from Moonshot, directed by Rahul Bharti, and produced by Sun City Studios.
The film opens with a young couple, Sunita and Rishabh, sharing a meal with Sunita’s parents and grandmother. When Sunita reveals their weekend plans to stay at an OYO hotel, her parents react with surprise, humorously alluding to OYO’s former reputation as a “couples hotel.” As the story progresses, Rishabh extends the invitation to the entire family, heightening their astonishment. The narrative then transitions to the family arriving at a luxurious OYO hotel, where they are pleasantly surprised by the premium services and elegant ambiance.
Through this campaign, OYO addresses and dispels outdated views, emphasizing its versatility and commitment to providing premium experiences for all types of travelers. Whether it’s a family vacation, a weekend with friends, solo adventures, or study sessions, OYO now offers premium accommodations to suit every need.
