Prime Video unveils exciting new releases

Prime Video has rolled out an exciting lineup of fresh releases this week, bringing a mix of action-packed thrillers, gripping dramas, horror, and romantic stories to audiences worldwide.

From S Shankar’s political thriller ‘Game Changer’ starring Ram Charan to the high-octane Japanese action-comedy ‘Broken Rage’, the platform is offering something for every viewer.

According to a press release from the streamer, the new releases also include the British romantic drama ‘My Fault London’, psychological thriller ‘Apartment 7A’, thrilling docuseries ‘50,000 First Dates: A Love Story in Real Life’ and suspenseful crime drama ‘Amber Alert’.

Game ChangerA Battle Against Corruption’: Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker S Shankar, ‘Game Changer’ is a high-stakes political thriller that follows Ram Nandan, an idealistic IAS officer determined to fight systemic corruption. As he takes on corrupt political figures and deep-rooted power structures, his journey becomes a test of resilience, justice, and courage. Starring Ram Charan in the lead role, the film also boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Kiara Advani, S.J. Suryah, Anjali, Srikant, Sunil, Jayaram, and Samuthirakani.

Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the movie is now streaming exclusively on Prime Video in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, captivating audiences across 240 countries and territories.

‘Broken Rage’: Takeshi Kitano’s action-packed yakuza thriller with a twist is a gritty crime-action film that unexpectedly transforms into a self-parodying comedy in its second half. Kitano stars as Nezumi, a hitman caught between the police and the yakuza, struggling to survive the deadly game of deception. Also featuring Tadanobu Asano and Nao Ômori, the film presents a unique blend of hard-hitting action and dark humor. Exclusively premiering on Prime Video on February 14, this action-comedy hybrid promises a thrilling cinematic experience.

‘My Fault London’: The British romantic drama explores the complexities of love, family, and hidden pasts. It follows Noah, an 18-year-old girl who moves to London with her mother and wealthy stepfather, only to develop a forbidden attraction to her stepbrother. As tensions rise, an even darker truth unravels — her estranged father, recently released from prison, has tracked her down. Directed by Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler, the film stars Asha Banks, Matthew Broome, Ray Fearon, Jason Flemyng, and Amelia Kenworthy. Now streaming on Prime Video with dubs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, the film offers an intense, emotionally charged narrative.

‘Apartment 7A’: For horror fans, ‘Apartment 7A’ delivers a psychological thriller with eerie connections to the classic horror film ‘Rosemary’s Baby’. The film follows a struggling dancer, played by Julia Garner, who is lured into a sinister web when a mysterious older couple promises to help her achieve fame. As she becomes entangled in their dark secrets, reality begins to unravel. Directed by Natalie Erika James, the movie features an outstanding cast, including Dianne Wiest, Jim Sturgess, and Kevin McNally.

‘50,000 First Dates: A Love Story in Real Life’: In a story that sounds straight out of a Hollywood rom-com, ‘50,000 First Dates: A Love Story in Real Life’ follows the real-life tale of Nesh Pillay, who wakes up one day with no memory of her fiancé, JJ Jakope, mistaking him for an Uber driver. As their love story goes viral, the couple faces public scrutiny, trust issues, and the struggle to rebuild their relationship. Directed by Brent Hodge and executive produced by William Talmadge and Carrie Mudd, the docuseries is now streaming exclusively on Prime Video, offering a deeply emotional and unpredictable love story.

‘Amber Alert’: For crime thriller enthusiasts, ‘Amber Alert’ offers an edge-of-your-seat ride, blending a high-speed chase with a child abduction mystery. The plot revolves around Jaq (Hayden Panettiere) and Shane (Tyler James Williams), who receive an amber alert notification and realize they are directly behind the suspected kidnapper’s car. What follows is a nerve-wracking pursuit where every second counts. Directed by Kerry Bellessa and starring Saidah Arrika Ekulona and Kevin Dunn, the film delivers an adrenaline-pumping experience.
