This much-anticipated Malayalam film is an adaptation of the acclaimed 2008 novel ‘Aadujeevitham’ by renowned author Benyamin.
Produced by Visual Romance and helmed by director Blessy, the movie stars a stellar ensemble cast, including Amala Paul, and K.R. Gokul, alongside Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby in pivotal roles, PTI reported.
The narrative of ‘The Goat Life’ follows the true story of Najeeb, a young man who embarked on a journey from the verdant shores of Kerala in the early ’90s, seeking his fortune in a foreign land.
Director Blessy emphasizes his commitment to preserving the narrative essence of the source material while ensuring a universal appeal. “The novel is grounded in real incidents, and I aim to mesmerize the audience with the unfolding of each moment, illustrating the extraordinary occurrences in someone’s life,” he expressed, highlighting the captivating nature of truth, often stranger than fiction.
Blessy further underlined the grandeur of the movie, designed to be experienced within the immersive confines of a theater, expressing enthusiasm about bringing this magnum opus to audiences globally.
‘The Goat Life’ boasts the musical prowess of Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman for its music direction, accompanied by the sound design expertise of Resul Pookkutty, another Academy Award recipient.
In a bid to reach a wider audience base, the film will be released not only in Malayalam but also in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, ensuring a multilingual cinematic experience for diverse viewers.
