PTC Network, the premier media house in North India, has unveiled its latest initiative to honor fresh talent in the film industry with the PTC Rising Filmstar Awards.

This inaugural event, dedicated to celebrating new and emerging stars in Hindi, Punjabi, and Haryanvi cinema, is scheduled to take place at a prestigious five-star venue in Chandigarh this July.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast worldwide, bringing the brightest new stars of North India to a global audience, the channel said in a statement.

The PTC Rising Filmstar Awards aim to provide a platform for young talent, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the cinematic landscape. This includes first-time actors, singers, producers, music composers, directors, and other debutants in the industry.

With over 30 nomination categories, the event promises an evening filled with entertainment, music, and recognition, celebrating the best fresh talent in Punjabi and Haryanvi cinema.

The ceremony will feature performances by some of the industry’s top artists and will be attended by prominent figures from Hindi, Punjabi, and Haryanvi cinema. Next week, PTC Network will release the nomination categories and details on the television channels and digital platforms where the event will be broadcast.

This initiative follows the success of PTC Network‘s previous award shows, including the PTC Achievers Awards, PTC Medical Awards, and PTC Retail & Services Awards, which honor exceptional contributions across various fields.

In April, the network also celebrated the rising stars of the music industry, recognizing over 30 artists in 28 different categories.
