The much-awaited RR Kabel Filmfare Awards Marathi 2024 premiered last night on Colors Marathi, offering viewers an enchanting evening filled with entertainment and celebration of the best in Marathi cinema.

Hosted by the dynamic duo of Amey Wagh and Siddharth Chaturvedi, the event kicked off with a bang, promising an unforgettable experience for audiences. Sanju Rathod, the sensational Marathi singer, lit up the stage with his viral hit ‘Gulabi Sadi’, captivating the audience with his electrifying performance. Joined by esteemed personalities like Sayali Sanjeev, Rinku Rajguru, Priyadarshini Indalkar, Gauri Nalawade, and Dipali Sayyed, the evening was marked by star-studded performances that left the audience in awe, the company said in a press release.

Prajakta Mali mesmerized viewers with her graceful ‘Lavani Thaska’, while Vaibhav Tatwawadi added a dose of ‘Marathi Tadka’ with his stellar act. Prathana Behere and Shruti Marathe stole the show with their jaw-dropping rendition of ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’, ensuring that the entertainment quotient remained high throughout the event.

The prestigious awards ceremony honored talented actors, filmmakers, writers, musicians, cinematographers, and editors for their invaluable contributions to Marathi cinema. Suhas Joshi was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Rohini Hattangadi, Ankush Choudhary, Shashank Shende, and Gauri Deshpande were among the winners in various categories.

Presented by RR Kabel as the Title Partner, the 8th edition of Filmfare Awards Marathi was co-powered by Manforce & Swaroma Masale.
