Fans of the romantic drama ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ are in for a nostalgic treat as the beloved film is set for a theatrical re-release on March 7. Starring RajKummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda, the film originally hit the big screens in 2017 and gradually won over audiences with its heartfelt storytelling and strong emotional core, ANI reported.

Announcing the re-release, Kriti Kharbanda shared on Instagram, “Love at first sight. Second time: Love all over again! #ShaadiMeinZaroorAana is coming back to the big screen this Friday, March 7th, all because of your love. You’ve laughed, cried, and rooted for Aarti and Sattu in the past, but now it’s time to feel it all over again, in a theatre, with popcorn in one hand and nostalgia in the other. Let’s make this reunion special… Shaadi thi, ab baarat lekar theatre zaroor aana.”

Directed by Ratnaa Sinha, the film tells the story of Aarti Shukla (Kriti Kharbanda), an ambitious woman who dreams of a successful career. She agrees to marry Satyendar (RajKummar Rao), only to flee the wedding upon discovering she won’t be allowed to work post-marriage. As fate unfolds, Aarti becomes a PCS officer, while a heartbroken Satyendar rises to the rank of IAS. Their paths cross again under unexpected circumstances, leading to a powerful tale of love, ambition, and redemption.
