Official broadcasters Sony Pictures Network India is all set to #BackOurBoys during the highly anticipated India tour of England 2021. The much talked about series will begin from today, and all the five Tests will be aired live on Sony sports channels in India.
The live broadcast can be seen on SONY SIX in English, SONY TEN 3 in Hindi, and the newly launched SONY TEN 4 channels in Tamil and Telugu from 2.30 pm IST. It would also be live-streamed on its on-demand OTT platform SONYLIV.
After establishing their dominance in Australia, the Men in Blue are back in action for yet another historical series against England. To build the excitement and rally support for the Indian cricket team, Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN) has launched the #BackOurBoys campaign.
The campaign tugs at the emotion of every Indian fan who will stand by the team through thick and thin, even as the team prepares to take on one of the toughest challenges on English soil. The pulse of the campaign is “This is our Team India & it’s time to #BackOurBoys”.
As per the company’s press release, SPSN has announced its live audio wraparound show Extraaa Innings will feature eminent panelists like Sunil Gavaskar, Shaun Pollock, Alastair Cook,
Sanjay Manjrekar, Harsha Bhogle, Nasser Hussain and Mike Atherton. The Hindi language studio show will be presented by former cricketers Ashish Nehra, Virender Sehwag, Ajay Jadeja, Ajit Agarkar, Mohammad Kaif and Vivek Razdan along with Arjun Pandit.
The Tamil commentary box will feature Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, WV Raman, Vidhyut Sivaramakrishnan, TR Arasu, and S Seshadri while the Telugu commentary will be presented by Venkatapathy Raju, Gnaneshwar Rao, C Venkatesh, Vijay Mahavadi, RJ Hemanth, and Sandeep Kumar.
SPSN will continue to leverage its unique connection with cricket fans and try to take the game to the farthest reaches of the country.
Their special presentation titled “School of Cricket” will put fans, especially kids, at the center stage by getting their expert panelists to offer them cricketing tips.
