Sony LIV has launched the #MaamlaGambhirHai campaign, heralding a new era in Indian cricket with the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. This tour is seen by many experts and analysts as the beginning of a fresh chapter, marked by a new team, a fresh perspective, and the seasoned appointment of Gautam Gambhir as coach.

The campaign aims to showcase India’s deep pool of cricketing talent and the nation’s optimism regarding the team’s potential under Gambhir’s guidance.

Sony LIV is set to stream the first game of the tour on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The platform has introduced several innovations to enhance the viewing experience. Matches will be streamed in four languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Additionally, fans will be able to choose from multiple camera angles, including batter, stump, and bowler cameras, allowing them to watch the game from their preferred perspective.

Suryakumar Ashok Yadav, who gained widespread acclaim for his performance in the T20 World Cup finals, will lead the team in the T20 leg of the tournament in Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma will continue as the captain for the ODI format. This tour marks the beginning of a new chapter in the T20 format while also featuring three ODI games.
