SPN secures rights for Pak cricket, PSL 2025

Sony Sports Network has made a significant move in cricket broadcasting by acquiring exclusive media rights for the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) international home matches and the 2025 season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

This deal ensures that Indian cricket fans will have access to live coverage of Pakistan’s home series and the high-octane PSL on Sony Sports channels and digital platforms.

The agreement comes at a time when cricket viewership in India is at an all-time high, with audiences showing keen interest in bilateral series and franchise-based leagues worldwide.

The PCB’s international home fixtures include series against top cricketing nations, making this a valuable addition to Sony’s programming. Pakistan is set to host teams like England, South Africa, New Zealand and Bangladesh in the coming months, making this partnership even more significant.

Additionally, the Pakistan Super League, which has gained immense popularity over the years, will now be accessible to Indian viewers through Sony’s platform, offering thrilling T20 action featuring some of the best cricketers from around the world.

So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
