Sony Sports Network is all set to broadcast the year’s second Grand Slam event, Roland-Garros 2022 which is scheduled to begin on May 22.
The sports broadcasting company is going all out with the live television coverage in four languages.
For the very first time in India, viewers will be able to watch the Roland Garros in their preferred language which includes English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, on Sony SIX, Sony TEN 2, Sony TEN 3, and Sony TEN 4, respectively.
The Grand Slam event will also be live-streamed on the company’s OTT platform, SonyLIV.
Sony Sports Network will offer audiences an unprecedented spectator experience of the premier event, with comprehensive coverage of the tournament in four languages and a live studio show. Extraaa Serve, the broadcaster’s premier show for Grand Slam competitions, will return for the tournament.
Sarthak Lal will host the show, which will include expert panelists such as Olympian Somdev Devvarman, Davis Cup player Purav Raja, and former tennis player Gaurav Natekar, Manish Batavia, Atish Thukral, and Gaurav Natekar will provide Hindi commentary on Sony TEN 3 channels.
Current Indian players Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Arun Venugopal will provide Tamil commentary, while Asian Games medalists Vishnu Vardhan and Sandeep Kumar will provide Telugu commentary.
