Tata IPL clocks record 1300+ crore views in first 5 weeks on JioCinema

JioCinema, TATA IPL 2023’s Official Digital Streaming Partner, continues to create worldwide milestones in the realm of digital sports viewing, with over 1300 Cr. video views in the first five weeks. The average time spent per viewer per match on JioCinema’s fan-centric presentation exceeded 60 minutes.

TATA IPL 2023 on Connected TV attracted twice as many viewers as HD TV. TATA IPL’s peak concurrency records were broken twice in five days by JioCinema.

They reached a height of 2.23 crores on April 12, during the Chennai Super Kings vs. Rajasthan Royals match.

Five days later, during the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings match, JioCinema set a new record with a concurrency of 2.4 Cr.

As per a press release, JioCinema launched a 360-degree viewing function to excite fans, demonstrating the power of immersive fan engagement digital.

Viewers have enjoyed the unique language feeds such as Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Marathi, and Gujarati, as well as digital-only features such as Multi-cam, 4K, and Hype Mode, as well as exciting, action-packed, and exclusive content such as highlights, top player interviews such as Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Faf Du Plessis, Rashid Khan, and David Miller thanks to partnerships with top IPL teams.

The number of advertisers who have joined up for JioCinema is likewise a new high, as is the income generated, both of which are much greater than last year on digital. The number of firms jumping on the digital bandwagon is anticipated to grow even more.

Sachin Tendulkar, India’s most recognized cricket captain and four-time IPL winner MS Dhoni, World No. 1 T20 batsman Suryakumar Yadav, and India Women’s team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana have joined forces with JioCinema to expand their world-class, digital-first TATA IPL presentation.
