The Indian direct broadcast satellite service provider, Tata Sky, is all set to make audiences’ hearts warm and fuzzy with the Tata Sky Classic TV.
The service promises to transport all Tata Sky subscribers to the golden era of Indian television.
The bouquet offers an entertaining mix of shows that have not only been popular, but have set a benchmark in the world of television soaps in India, the company said in a statement.
The evergreen and critically acclaimed actress Neena Gupta has been roped in as the face of the campaign.
The campaign will feature her rekindling the good old days with her set of friends reminiscing the magic of gems like ‘Hum Paanch’, ‘Saans’, ‘Fauji’, ‘Banegi Apni baat’ and many more.
The service will also have an exclusive chat show hosted by the all-time favourite boy next door Vishal Malhotra. Titled ‘Roobaroo with Star’, the segment will feature Vishal engaging in friendly banter with stalwarts like Seema Pahwa, Sudha Chandran, Ashok Saraf, Vandana Pathak, Suchitra Pillai and others, reminiscing about their days of yore and sharing never-heard-before anecdotes with the subscribers.
The service has been powered by Shemaroo Entertainment, is ad-free and available for viewing anytime on the Tata Sky mobile app.
Tata Sky Classic TV also becomes the first service to curate and offer all classic content together on television.
