One of the most eagerly anticipated programs, ‘TV9 Bangla Sera Barowari’ (Best Committee/Club), has ignited a head-to-head competition to identify the most creative theme-based pandals across the city. The preliminary selection of ‘Sera Barowari’ was thoughtfully nominated by students from the Government Art College, who diligently shortlisted the most outstanding art on display in these theme-based pandals.

Additionally, the 50 best-nominated pandals have undergone rigorous evaluation by TV9 Bangla News Channel’s Correspondents.

The Sera Barowari categories include ‘Sera Theme’ (Best Theme), ‘Sera Protima’ (Best Idol), ‘Sera Paribesh’ (Best Ambiance), ‘Sera Barowari Pujo’ (Best Barowari Pujo), ‘Sera Alankar’ (Best Ornaments), ‘Sera Suraksha’ (Best Environment-Friendly Mandapa), ‘Manusher Pashe’ (Stand by the People), and ‘Mayer Pujo Meyer Hatey’ (Worship of Goddess Durga Ma by the Hands of Daughters).

Eminent personalities such as Pandit Tejendranarayan Majumdar, Subhen Chattopadhyay, Chaiti Ghoshal, and Satyam Roy Chowdhury have chaired the esteemed Jury. TV9 Bangla will broadcast the Sera Barowari competition from October 19 to October 21, starting at 7 pm.

While the city buzzes with festive fervor, the competition for ‘Sera Abason’ (Best Housing Estates) has also reached new heights this year, as housing estates vie for a coveted spot on the Top Durga Puja Sera Abason List.

An impressive 1000+ pujas were submitted throughout the city, and well-known celebrities Sampurna Lahiri and Pujarini Ghosh presided over the judging of six Abason Pujas. The Sera Abason program will debut on October 22nd, commencing at 5 pm, exclusively on TV9 Bangla.

Among the plethora of TV9 Bangla’s programs, the exclusive ‘Anya Durga’ series delves into the remarkable real-life stories of the ‘Durgas’ who have overcome societal challenges and emerged as champions.

This heartwarming series will air fresh episodes from October 20th to October 23, starting at 11:30 am on TV9 Bangla. ‘Pujar Adda’ (Chats) with celebrities can be enjoyed from October 20 to October 24, running from 2 pm to 4 pm.

As Dashami approaches, TV9 Bangla presents another exclusive program, ‘Asche Bocchor Abar Hobe.’ This enlightening “adda” (Chats) program will be streamed on October 24th at 7 pm, along with live coverage of the Biswarjon (Idol Immersion) directly from the studio.
