Emmanuel Upputuru, Founder of Efgh Brand Innovations, Sabyasachi Mitter, Founder and Managing Director of ibs + Fulcro, and Bobby Pawar, Chairman and CEO of Havas Group India, will serve as Jury Chairs for the Green Abby, Technology, and Static Print categories, respectively, at The ABBY One Show Awards 2023.

Emmanuel Upputuru, Founder of Efgh Brand Innovations, has been appointed to lead the Green Abby category on the Abby One Show Awards Jury 2023.

Emmanuel was previously the CCO of Cheil, the Founder of ITSA, and the NCD of Publicis Advertising. He has a slew of Cannes Lions, One Show pencils, D&AD, Adfest, London International, and Abby One Show Awards to his name. In 2003-2004, Campaign Brief Asia named him India’s Hottest Creative.

Emmanuel has served on major juries including D&AD, Adfest, and London International.

He led Cheil to fourth place at the Abby One Show in 2022 and also helped the agency win the title of Digital and Branded Content Agency of the Year at the Abby One Show in 2022, in addition to winning their first Effie Gold.

Emmanuel considers his greatest triumph to be combining oil and water: the conventional ATL prima donnas and the digital natives, who were formerly two teams that he has now blended into one huge team.

Emmanuel now uses technology as a medium and refers to Data as his boss.

Sabyasachi Mitter, Founder, and Managing Director of ibs + Fulcro, has been named Jury Chair of the Abby One Show Awards 2023.

Sabyasachi is an IIMC alumnus with a 27-year career that includes over 20 years as an entrepreneur. He is the creator of two of India’s largest digital agencies, ibs and Fulcro.

Sabyasachi has worked with over 100 notable businesses across industries during his extensive career. With over 250 accolades, 17 times agency of the year, and the ABBY Grand Prix, Sabyasachi has exhibited thought leadership in generating award-winning campaigns for some of the country’s most renowned brands.

“The Abby One Show Awards are without a doubt the gold standard of advertising awards in India,” Sabyasachi comments. Bobby Pawar, Chairman and CEO of Havas Group India, will serve on the Abby One Show Awards 2023 Static Print jury.

Bobby Pawar is one of India’s most decorated artists, having received over 400 national and international honors. He was named IAA India’s Creative Agency Leader of the Year (2021) and Campaign Asia’s India and South Asia Creative Person of the Year (2011).

Bobby spent five and a half years at Publicis before joining Havas Group, where he was tasked with turning the firm around. During his tenure, Publicis launched some of the most talked-about and effective campaigns in the country.

He was previously the Chief Creative Officer of JWT, where he made a significant change in the agency’s creative output.

Bobby also served as the CCO of DDB Mudra Group for four and a half years. He was entrusted with boosting the creative bar across multiple disciplines, including digital, experiential, and media. As a result, he transformed the group into one of the country’s hottest agencies.

Bobby has been in the United States for seven years. He worked at Ogilvy in New York and BBDO in Chicago. One of his documentaries aired during the Super Bowl. It was also shown at the MoMA and was nominated for an Emmy.

The Abby Awards will be held on May 24-26 during Goafest 2023.
