Vamsi Murth joins Disney + Hotstar as ED, head content marketing

Disney + Hotstar has appointed Vamsi Murthy as executive director and head of content and partnerships, he announced his new role on his LinkedIn account.

Vamsi was previously associated with BookMyShow as head of marketing from May 2021. He has been associated with Zee5 as vice president of marketing, Myntra Jabong as director of brand marketing, and MakeMyTrip.

Vamsi is passionate about building digital brands through the power of customer centricity & strategic marketing innovation. He has first-hand experience in leading habit-change mandates & bringing ‘offline to online.

He has completed his MBA in Marketing from Welingkar Institute of Management and is an alumnus of SIES College of Commerce.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
