Viacom18, the official broadcast and digital partner for Paris 2024 is set to deliver the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. Days after unveiling the most comprehensive coverage of the Olympics ever, Viacom18 has announced a unique, immersive coverage strategy for the Opening Ceremony, which will take place on the Seine River.

Viacom18’s coverage will include a dedicated camera feed on the Team India boat, giving viewers a close-up view of the Indian contingent throughout the ceremony. This exclusive presence on the boat will allow for real-time reactions, quotes, and footage from Indian athletes as they participate in the colorful river parade through the heart of Paris.

The Opening Ceremony will be presented in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, ensuring wider access to the spectacle for viewers across India. In addition to an extraordinary lineup of studio experts and former champions, India’s first athletics World Championship medalist and two-time Olympian, Anju Bobby George, will join Viacom18’s studios for Paris 2024.
