Yamaha has been announced as a co-presenting sponsor for the ongoing MotoGP season, which will be exclusively live-streamed on JioCinema and Sports18.
On March 26, the Grand Premio de Portugal kicked off the coverage.
The network is providing comprehensive live coverage of the event, which includes practice sessions on Friday and Saturday, qualifying and the Sprint on Saturday, and the main race on Sunday.
Yamaha will co-present the 2023 season and will be integrated into live and non-live coverage of the world’s highest level of motorcycle racing. The brand’s entry into MotoGP presentation in India is seamless, as it also has a celebrated presence in the racing circuit, with multiple team championships to its name and several individual champions, including the legendary Valentino Rossi, coming out of its stable.
Fabio Quartararo, the current Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP rider, is also having a fantastic season with the team after winning the 2021 MotoGP World Championship and finishing the 2022 season as Vice-Champion.
The world’s best riders compete on world-class, high-performance, fastest prototype motorcycles made by leading manufacturers such as Yamaha. The biggest series to date, the 2023 season, will feature 20 races across 17 countries, including the historic 14th round in India, where MotoGP will make its debut.
