The Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) on Thursday announced a partnership with Viacom18, designating it as the official media rights partner for the Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Indian football, establishing Viacom18 as the ‘new home of Indian football.’
According to a CNBC report, the 10th season of the Indian Super League is scheduled for September 21, set to ignite the fervor of football enthusiasts at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi.
The opening clash will witness the fierce rivalry between Kerala Blasters FC and Bengaluru FC.
Under this exciting partnership, Viacom18 will hold exclusive media rights for ISL across both Digital and Linear TV platforms. The telecast will cater to the league’s diverse audience by offering content in multiple languages.
Furthermore, football fans can rejoice as the ISL action will be streamed for free on JioCinema, Viacom18‘s digital streaming platform.
